On-site search engine optimisation is included as part of our web development service for each website we build. This includes:

• the correct use of heading tags
• help with the preparation of search engine friendly content
• the use of valid xhtml site code

• xml sitemap built and submitted to major search engines

In addition to this we also provide a more advanced off-site SEO service where we aim to improve the position of a website in the search engine results pages. We offer this service for sites we develop and for existing websites that need improved SEO. For a fixed monthly fee this service includes:

• refining the embedded metadata
• keyword research
• reporting on SERP position
• building quality back-links

Back-links currently play an important part in establishing site authority and search engine page ranking and are an essential part of SEO activity.

We also look at other ways to build website traffic by promoting sites in directories and on other referral sites. Where appropriate we consider the use of Web2 technologies such as social networking sites, Twitter and RSS to provide new opportunities for visitor referral to the main website.
